Control tooling, document revisions, approvals and changes
Tooling, document revisions, approvals and changes must remain traceable when people, sites or sub-suppliers change. We record the status supported by evidence, identify control gaps and, if required, set up a register with defined approval routes. This complements your contracts but does not replace legal advice. Qualified legal advisers handle legal assessment, contract drafting and enforcement.
At a glance
- Suitable for
- For supplier relationships involving customer-owned tooling, several revisions or frequent changes. It also helps when you do not know which revision the supplier is using.
- What we do
- Tooling assignment and document revisions
- Approvals and changes
- Tooling, document and change register
- Agreed approval routes with handover
- Your result
- You receive a prioritised list of actions for your control gaps, or a tooling, document and change register with agreed approval routes. Your team can maintain the register itself. We confirm the schedule before work starts.
- What you can decide
- Which gaps to close first, which changes to approve or hold, and where you need a contract or legal adviser.
- Price
- Protection Review €290
- Protection Setup €990
- You send us
- Name the supplier relationship or tool whose assignment, status or changes are not reliably recorded today.
- Not the right fit if
- you want a contract drafted, its enforceability reviewed or legal action taken – that is a matter for a qualified lawyer. If the register is to be maintained month by month, MANAGE fits.

Your records show the applicable status and approved changes even when contacts change.

Concrete control examples
Tooling
We record ownership, location, access, maintenance status and transfers of customer tooling in writing.
Production route
We check the operating factory, line, critical outsourced processes and approved sub-suppliers against the confirmed position.
Change
The agreed change process requires notification before a new revision or a change to material, process or site is introduced. We assess the evidence; you decide whether to approve.
Trade mark & IP
Trade mark, IP or contract questions belong with qualified specialists; the register records which documents and results are available.
Documents the register can hold
Depending on the product and agreed scope, the register may contain the following documents. We check their status for completeness and visible inconsistencies. Legal, regulatory and technical assessments remain with you or the appropriate qualified specialist.
- Material certificates, e.g. 3.1 under EN 10204
- Declarations of conformity and declarations under the EU chemicals regulation (REACH) and the EU directive restricting hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS)
- Manufacturer emissions data for the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) for iron, steel and aluminium goods
- Proof of origin and tariff classification details
- Information for your supply-chain due diligence, e.g. under the German Supply Chain Act (LkSG)
Common questions about this service
Do you assume suppliers hide their structure?
No. Changes and outsourced processes are normal in business. We record changes relevant to you against the confirmed production route, using the evidence available.
Do you check new bank beneficiaries?
We check the payment recipient against the approved supplier relationship and flag deviations. This does not replace banking or legal advice.
Do you draft contracts or legal opinions?
No. WJY Supply is not a law firm. Our operational controls complement your contracts. Qualified legal advisers handle contract review and enforcement, including Chinese-language non-use, non-disclosure and non-circumvention (NNN) agreements. We can make an introduction on request.
