You receive documented findings and a WJY recommendation to RELEASE or HOLD. Shipment release remains with you unless you have expressly authorised us in writing.

- Depending on the level, you receive documented feedback on inconsistencies, a RELEASE or HOLD recommendation, or an inspection report with the sample, findings, photographs and measurements. The inspection date follows completion of the lot; we confirm the report date before work starts.

What must be settled before an inspection
- Purchase order, item and approved revision, lot size and planned shipment date.
- A completed lot that is ready for inspection – packed to the extent the inspection plan requires.
- Agreed inspection criteria: specification, boundary samples, defect classes and AQL limits; your own requirements take precedence.
- The inspector named in the quotation. The price of €590 / inspection day includes the inspector's fee and travel within 100 km of Nanjing. The inspector provides the photo and measurement report; WJY evaluates the findings and recommends the next action.
- If the lot is incomplete or reworked, a re-inspection is new scope priced in advance. Beyond 100 km from Nanjing, required travel and accommodation are charged at actual documented cost with your prior approval. Laboratory testing, certification, unusual inspection equipment and an additional inspection day are not included; we quote them in advance if required.

What distinguishes the inspection from the release assessment and recommendation?
The Pre-Shipment Inspection examines the goods themselves. The Shipment Release Assessment and Recommendation reviews existing inspection reports, deviations and rework evidence; it includes the document check. When you order both together, we charge overlapping work only once. You decide whether to release the shipment.

Which sampling do you use?
By default AQL sampling (ISO 2859-1) with the agreed inspection level and limits per defect class. Your own requirements take precedence.
Does the inspection replace an accredited laboratory?
No. We coordinate any required laboratory testing or certification with an appropriate qualified partner.
