We check suppliers, assess production evidence and follow up agreed actions on site. You commission the scope your project needs. We agree tasks, deliverables, dates and costs in writing before we start.
You alone pay us. We receive no supplier commissions and charge no mark-up on the value of goods. Supplier contacts, documents and decisions remain with you.

We examine one named supplier against a defined review objective. You choose the review depth according to the question you need answered.

The Video Factory Tour is a separate service that helps establish remotely whether an on-site review is worthwhile. We charge individual factory visits outside 100 km of Nanjing as a field day (€690), plus travel costs under “Day rates and travel costs”. A quick check provides orientation. BUILD – from supplier search to secured series production
For one item or a defined item family, you commission only the next stage. After each result, you decide whether to continue. Each stage includes the previous one; we credit stages already paid within the same project in full against the confirmed total price of the next stage. The item or item family and the agreed brief must remain the same. We never charge for the same work twice. We quote separately for changed requirements, additional candidates, further sample rounds and work required by a changed brief before carrying it out.

Our Q0–Q5 model shows what evidence is available and which questions remain open. We quote separately for samples, tooling, laboratory tests and external measurements. Supplier, sample, tooling and series approvals remain with you.
We search for and check commodities and raw materials such as fertilisers or industrial chemicals in the same stages; in QUALIFY, the price for standard items applies. You sign the purchase contract directly with the manufacturer.

The hour allowance determines the scope; the supplier count is an upper limit. Field days within ongoing support are routine factory visits. Reports, preparation and follow-up count towards the allowance for every task, including field days. This covers onboarding in the first month and handover in the last. Unused hours expire at month-end. We undertake additional work only with your prior agreement. The China Procurement Office starts with a pilot month. We then plan visits together for one month or, if you want more planning certainty, for three months. All support tiers can be cancelled monthly with 14 days' notice to the end of the month. An additional hour costs €75; an additional routine field day costs €590.

For multi-day assignments, we charge the supplement once per journey. We charge overnight stays at cost and only after prior approval. Travel time counts towards the field day. If a route does not fit into one day, we plan an overnight stay or another day and state the costs in advance.
The accepted written proposal for the confirmed scope remains authoritative.

Frequently asked pricing questions
Prices and VAT
All stated prices are in euros and are offered exclusively to businesses (B2B). WJY Supply is established in the People's Republic of China. For our services to businesses within the European Union, the place of supply is generally the country in which the customer is established (Article 44 of Directive 2006/112/EC). In these cases, the customer is generally liable for VAT under the rules of its country (Article 196 of Directive 2006/112/EC). WJY Supply does not charge European VAT for these services. For services to businesses in Switzerland, the place of supply is generally Switzerland (Article 8(1) of the Swiss VAT Act); the customer generally accounts for acquisition tax (Article 45 of the Swiss VAT Act). For services to businesses in the United Kingdom, the place of supply is generally the United Kingdom (Section 7A of the Value Added Tax Act 1994); the customer generally accounts for VAT there (Section 8 of the Value Added Tax Act 1994). WJY Supply does not charge VAT for these services either. Any taxes arising in China are included in the stated prices. Additional travel, inspection or third-party costs are agreed separately before commissioning unless expressly included.
Who signs the agreement and issues the invoice?
The contracting and invoicing entity is WJY Supply Co. Ltd.
Is an enquiry through the website already an order?
No. An assignment starts only when you accept our written quotation. Enquiries and appointment requests are not binding. Supplier trips also require the following: trip planning becomes chargeable only once you have expressly approved the planning task, its scope and maximum amount. An enquiry, an initial conversation or a form on our website is not a booking and does not incur any costs.
Can we commission work with our own purchase order?
Yes. Our written quotation is the basis. We accept your purchase order against it and include your PO number on the invoice. Any different purchasing terms are agreed before work starts.
Which report formats and editable files do we receive?
Reports come as PDFs. Comparisons, action lists and registers also come as editable spreadsheets for Excel or LibreOffice. Drafts such as an RFQ addendum come as editable documents for Word or LibreOffice; full-resolution photographs are available on request. All deliverables belong to you and may be shared internally.
How do we exchange drawings after agreeing confidentiality?
Through the channel you specify – for example your data room or a password-protected shared folder. We pass drawings only to suppliers you have approved, and only to the extent necessary.
What happens if a supplier refuses access?
Refusal of access and unsuccessful inspections: Before departure, WJY obtains confirmation from the supplier of the appointment, responsible contact person and agreed inspection scope, including the required access rights. If the supplier withdraws its agreement before WJY departs and the inspection therefore cannot take place, WJY will not travel and will refund 70% of the agreed inspection fee. The remaining 30% covers preparation already undertaken and efforts to secure access. The client may demonstrate that no costs or substantially lower costs were incurred. If access is refused after departure but before arrival, WJY will charge the preparation and deployment effort actually incurred, up to the agreed inspection fee, taking account of costs saved, and will refund any unused portion of the fee. If the supplier refuses access only upon arrival despite prior confirmation, or the agreed contact person fails to appear, the full inspection fee remains payable, provided WJY has properly prepared the assignment, committed the agreed inspection time and made reasonable efforts to obtain access. Costs saved or inspection capacity used for other assignments will be taken into account. WJY will document the circumstances and actions taken. If WJY is responsible for the failure, the inspection will be rescheduled without an additional service fee or the inspection fee will be refunded in full. WJY will bear additional costs attributable to its own failure. Third-party costs you approved that can no longer be refunded are borne by you.
Terms section 13: On-site reviews: access refused and restricted evidence
And if no suitable candidate is found?
If research within the agreed scope yields no suitable candidate, we deliver the documented search result with the search path, sources checked and reasons. We do not refund the fee in this case, provided we have carried out the agreed research in full.
How are additional work and costs approved?
Only in writing and in advance. We state the reason, scope and price. We do not work beyond the agreed scope without your approval. In MANAGE, this also applies to extra hours (€75) and routine field days (€590).
Terms section 7: Changes, additional services and third-party costs
How do you hand over open items and files at the end?
You receive the current supplier and action list, open points with owners and dates, and all reports and working files. When MANAGE ends, we hand over in the last month. That time counts towards the hour allowance.
Why no percentage of order value?
Our compensation should not rise merely because your order value rises. We use fixed project, day and monthly prices.
When is a project price suitable?
When the task, inputs, deliverable and boundary are clear before work begins.
When does ongoing support make sense?
When you need regular follow-up and reports on suppliers, quality, delivery dates and open actions.
Are travel, laboratory or other third-party costs included?
Our travel within 100 km of Nanjing is included. In the rest of the Yangtze River Delta, we charge a regional travel supplement per journey, with an indicative amount of €120. Outside the Delta, we charge travel and accommodation at cost and only after prior approval. We state laboratory, sample and other third-party costs in advance and incur them only after your approval.
